Cat brush catdict

This brush has turned our cat into an addict! She can not think of anything else. No food, no cuddles...only brushing.
When we enter the room she starts miaowing and runs toward the brush...which we attempt to hide without much luck..If nothing comes of this, she sits in front of us and stares at us as if to hypnotize us. If we look at her she rushes towards the brush-hiding place and miaows.
She is now on the brush equivalent to methadone treatment. She gets 10 strokes...on her sides, 3 x per day. thats all. We hope the hair on the back will grow back.
