mylar balls

My 7 month old kitten's favorite toy is by far those mylar balls. He can go on for an hour just chasing one around, pouncing on it, biting it, carrying it, etc. It's really cute to watch. And recently, he's discovered the game of fetch. He'll carry the mylar ball up to the sofa or bed (wherever I'm sitting) and drop it in front of me so that I can throw it. Then he chases after it, brings it back, and the cycle continues until he doesn't want to play fetch anymore. So adorable! The best part about mylar balls is that they're so cheap!!

Comment: ping pong balls are terrific: they roll well, bounce well, and make a neat noise. And they are six for a buck at the dollar store, so you can lose a few under the fridge. Try throwing them up the stairs to bounce back down.
