Pet Medication

I think something that should be considered when prescribing pet medication is how to give a pill. Unless I place the pill in peanut butter, cream cheese, hot dogs, etc. there is a fight ahead. It is NOT easy to give pills any other way. So recently I purchased one of those pill pushers from the vet's office. I had never used one, never seen one used and had no clue. So I took it home and actually destroyed the thing with my ignorance on its use. If considering buying a pill pusher, if you have never used one before, maybe you can ask at the vet office before you leave just how the thing is used.
