Wire crate?

When I asked my trainer for the best crate for my dogs he told me to stay away from wire crates because the dog can see through them and some dogs feel too vulnerable! He suggested that I use a pet porter or something of the like because that way when the dog is in there the dog sees it as more of a cave and will feel safer. I actually used a wire crate with my older dog when he was about 8 months old to the time he was about a year and a half and he hated it and he would growl and try to break out of the cage. But now that I have gotten him and my puppy a pet porter, they both love them. So I would recommend a pet porter and day it is also easy to clean because you can take the top right off.

Pet crates

Comment: I purchased a zippered nylon foldable crate for my cattle-dog poodle mix. It's great for traveling, even up and down the stairs. Major caveat: an energetic dog can burst right through the zipper. The dog can be trained to sit until the zipper is opened.
